SponsorshipOpportunitiesBelow are the current sponsorship opportunities the Oakville Centre offers. We are happy to work with you to customize a package to suit your corporate needs.

PERFORMANCE SPONSORSHIPPerformance sponsorships are a great way to increase your corporate visibility while offering a superb evening of entertainmentto your guests. Your company will receive marketing recognition as an associate sponsor leading up to your sponsoredperformance as well as advertising benefits that continue throughout the season. Multi-show Performance sponsorships are alsoavailable as well as additional corporate entertaining and artist meet and greets (subject to artist’s approval).

Cost: Prices vary according to the artist. Performance sponsorships generally range from $5,000 to $10,000. Multi show sponsorships can range from $10,000 to $20,000.

SERIES SPONSORSHIPThis sponsorship package consists of 4 to 6 performances per season. As Series sponsor your company will be identified as acultural leader and arts supporter in the eyes of the patrons. Through reputation advertising your company brand will quickly beassociated with performances at the Oakville Centre. Series available include Family, Concert, Classic Albums Live, Comedy,Dance, Drama & Film, In Conversation with, Classical & World Artists and Studio Sessions (all subject to availability).

Cost: The Series sponsorship package fee ranges from $10,000-$25,000.

LEARNING WITH THE ARTS SCHOOL MATINEE PERFORMANCE SPONSORSHIPThis sponsorship package consists of 4 to 6 performances per season, geared to the elementary and secondary schoolcurriculum. As the Learning with the Arts sponsor your company will be identified as a leader in providing students withrewarding theatrical experiences that are associated with the Ontario curriculum. Your company brand will quickly be associatedwith providing teachers and students with the proper resources that go along with each performance.

Cost: The Learning with the Arts sponsorship package fee is $8,000-$12,000.

FACILITY NAMING RIGHTSThe Oakville Centre has internal spaces available for corporate naming rights, below are the opportunities and the yearly cost – multi year due to creation of signage (subject to availability).

Our OrganizationSince 1977, thousands of people have been gathering at Oakville’s only professional performing arts venue to see andhear their favourite local, national and International artists perform in their own backyard. With two performing spaces,a main hall with 497 seats and a studio theatre with 120 seats, the Oakville Centre programs a wide variety ofprofessional artists in music, (from jazz to rock), comedy, dance and drama. With 45 to 65 professional performances peryear, we attract a wide cosmopolitan audience, who are well-educated and well-travelled arts consumers.

CONCERT SERIESThe Concert Series brings the very best of touring professional artists to theOakville Centre. Whether they are on the rise or at the top of their game, theconcert series is dedicated to bringing the very best artists to Oakville. Concertseries performers have included Barenaked Ladies, Jann Arden, Graham Nash,Jim Cuddy, Alan Parsons, Burton Cummings, The Proclaimers, Eric Burdon,Natalie MacMaster, Great Lake Swimmers Steve Hackett, Jesse Cook, America,Tower of Power, Randy Bachman, Anne Murray, Alan Parsons Project, JoeBonnamassa, Blind Boys of Alabama, I Mother Earth and many more.

CLASSIC ALBUMS LIVE SERIESClassic Albums Live is a group of musicians who recreate classic rock albums“note for note, cut for cut”. Using some of the best musicians in Canada, thisgroup specializes in bringing your favourite rock albums to life. From theBeatles to Led Zeppelin, from the Eagles to Fleetwood Mac, this series isdedicated to recreating the moments and memories associated with theseclassic albums. The Classic Albums Live performances tend to sell out,attracting a diverse age group including parents who want to share the musicthey grew up with to their teenagers.

COMEDY SERIESThis series features everything funny. It spotlights Canadian and worldrenowned comedians as well as comedy legends – all guaranteed to providethe audience with a good time. Past artists include Bob Newhart, Don Rickles,Roseanne Barr, Lily Tomlin, Howie Mandel, Brent Butt, The Frantics, SecondCity, Just for Laughs, Steven Wright, Veterans of Saturday Night Live and manymore. Whether it be stand-up, improvisation, comedy troupe or sketch, if it’sfunny, the Comedy Series will be presenting it.

DANCE, DRAMA & FILM SERIESThe Dance, Drama & Film Series showcases some of the finest Canadian andinternational dance and theatre companies and screens some of the mosttopical and entertaining films from international festivals. The plays areaward-winning productions coming off extended runs in either Toronto orBroadway by companies including Soulpepper, Volcano Theatre, One YellowRabbit and more. The dance productions are creations from some of the bestchoreographers in modern dance including Les Ballet Jazz de Montréal, CrystalPite, Coleman & Lemieux, Peggy Baker, Louise Lacavlier, Christopher Houseand more. The films come from Festivals like the Banff Mountain Film FestivalWorld Tour and other acclaimed festivals.

CLASSICAL & WORLD ARTISTS SERIESA series of concerts consisting of established classical acts, Quartetto Gelato,Canadian Brass and Tafalmusik, and world music artists, the Moscow BoysChoir, Jesse Cook and Ladysmith Black Mambazo, are presented. Thedemographic of this audience leans to the more sophisticated patron whobelieves in the cultural experience as enriching their lives. They love the classthat a classical and world artist projects and sees these concerts as beingmemorable and worth sharing with family members and friends. The agerange usually begins at 40 and up and comprises of a highly educatedaudience with refined taste.

STUDIO SESSIONS SERIESThe Studio Session Series is held downstairs at the Oakville Centre in ourintimate 120 seat Studio Theatre. The Studio Sessions Series present the bestemerging talent in music, comedy, drama and dance. It provides theopportunity to help new artists find an audience. Past artists who have startedin our Studio theatre have included Natalie MacMaster, Lorne Elliott, The Once,Second City and many more. The Studio Session Series is a great place towitness the next rising stars in entertainment.

FAMILY SERIESThe Family series offers a variety of performances for children of different agesby established children’s entertainers and production companies that includepopular television characters, musicians like Fred Penner, Wild Kratts LIVE,Sharon, Lois and Bram, The Doodle Bops, Daniel Tiger’s Neighbourhood, TheBerenstain Bears, Eric Carle’s The Very Hungry Caterpillar, circus acts, plays,musicals and more. These productions normally sell over 80% of the seats foreach performance. The demographic of the audience members attending istruly all ages due to the fact many parents and grandparents will bring childrenaged 2 – 16. Adult ages range from 25 and up representing the two incomefamilies that believe attending live concerts and theatre is part of the family culture and entertainment priorities. Each performance is less than 60 minutes and most tickets are $20 or less.
