Quantity SurveyingThe main job of the Quantity Surveying team is construction cost control and
therefore ultimately to save the developer money. Raistec Enterprises’ Quantity Surveying team estimates and monitors construction costs, from the feasibility stage of a project through to the completion of the construction period and beyond if required. we out our technical and management team to monitor quantity at every stage of project as follows:
At the feasibility stage we use our knowledge of construction methods and costs to advise the developer on the most economical way of achieving project requirements.
We can use techniques referred to as Cost Planning, Estimating, Cost Analysis, Cost-in-use Studies and Value Management to establish and control a project budget
Our BOQ that measured from drawings and essential for tendering or negotiating building cost, for variations and changes to the contract and ultimately for statistics and valuation of the project.
During construction our on site team monitor all executed quantity from surveyor’s quantity which are called on to fairly value "Progress Payments" at regular intervals.
We will also proposed value changes to design or quantities which may arise by reference to appropriate Bill of Quantities rates. We will prepared claims for progress payments and additional work.
When construction is complete our quantity surveyors can produce depreciation schedules of the various project components and advise on realistic insurance replacement costs.
