Rajasthan Tourism in March 2013 got the Second Best State for Comprehensive Development of Tourism . The award was given away by the President Pranab Mukerjee at the National Tourism Awards ceremony for 2011-2012 held in New Delhi at Vigyan Bhawan.

SUGGESTIONS TO IMPROVE RAJASTAHN TOURISM

Building good infrastructure to enable the movement of tourists, safely and smoothly.

Focus on road, railway and air transportation. To make marketing and promotion of tourism products and tourism

published material, to encourage people to stay away from home and make movements in their own country.

To give wider range of facilities to meet the tourists needs. Provide the travel packages to suit all types of pockets. Provide products for business travelers either to individuals or in

groups. Availability of hotels at reasonable prices. Setting up of more information outlets.
