MISSION: The Jewish Art Museum of Minnesota will be a major repository in the Upper Midwest for Jewish related art collections. JAMM will collect and
exhibit examples of fine arts and culture adhering to a commitment to art of the Jewish experience with a historical perspective, as well as art that illuminates
contemporary Jewish culture and life in America. Unique in its focus, this educational institute will preserve and disseminate Jewish cultural, ritual,
traditional, modern and contemporary fine arts. The purpose of the museum is to be an educational institution and cultural archive which, through the medium
of art, engages awareness of the Jewish culture for Jewish and non-Jewish citizens alike. It is hoped that one outcome of this engagement is the
furtherance of mutual enlightenment, understanding and a richly peaceful coexistence between the Jewish people and all of humankind.
