This conference is about the Foundational Education, namely, up to the 10th Grade. There is worldwide realization of the serious short comings in the present educational systems. The three qualities that are particularly short, are: Leadership, Innovation and Ethics. From any country's National point of view, these are even more serious deficiencies. India, which wants and has the potential to be at the forefronts of the Global Platform; these Qualities must be prioritized and achieved at a speed to be ahead of all Nations. The education in India is synonymous with getting a job than being at the cutting edge of complete excellence. The complete excellence includes a balanced life at home, a competitive performance at work and a holistic leadership at work and in the society. A human life is too precious not to pursue this dream. The Foundational Education must have a sound foundation of “LIFE".

By “GURUTWA" , we mean the teaching and learning coming from the Parents, Teachers, Educationists, Institutions and the Experts with a designed purpose of providing Leadership, Innovativeness, Moral Values(Sanskar) and preparation for the entry into the Professional Institutions. All of this must have appropriate and relevant tools, technology and thought process to fit into needs of BHARAT as a Nation as well as capacity to extrapolate into Global competency.

The purpose of this conference is to bring together Academia, Experts of Training and Technology, Educationists, Industry leaders, representatives of the Government and social leaders. Have them reflect on what, how and why of the GURUTWA. This is an innovative effort and it is the urgent need of the time. SwamiShantatmanandaji

Swami Shantatmananda, head of Delhi Centre of Ramakrishna Mission, is

deeply committed to the spreading of value education amongst the youth,

specially school and college students. He has been a member of a high-powered

committee of the Govt. of NCR Delhi, CBSE, etc. He has visited most of the

developed nations, inspiring youth world wide through his lecture series. He

was instrumental in devising programmes on TV Channels on Education and

also organized World Peace Conference in New Delhi.

Swami Raghavendrananda Ji Maharaj, served for 25 years at Publication

Division of Ramakrishna Math, Nagpur. He was then the Secretary of

Ramakrishna Mission, Indore where he served for 15 years before coming to

Gwalior Ramakrishna Mission Ashram. Swamiji is well versed in the

Ramakrisha Vivekananda Literature, Gita, Upanishads, Brahmasutra, ancient

wisdom and other scriptures of the land.

Gwalior is a monk of Ramakrishna Order. He joined the Ramakrishna Math &

Ramakrishna Mission in 1999. He served at Advaita Ashram, Kolkata a

publication wing of the order. He devoted ten years in the schools at

Shri Narendra Singh Tomar

Dr. Vinay Sahasrabuddhe is the Director-General of Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini, a research

and training academy for elected representatives and social activists. He heads the BJP's

think tank Public Policy Research Centre.

In 2009, Dr. Sahasrabuddhe served as Political Advisor to the then President of BJP Mr.

Gadkari. In 2010, he initiated the training of 125 ministers from BJP-ruled states.

In February 2009, he was awarded a Ph. D by the University of Mumbai for his doctoral thesis

on “Political Parties as Victims of Populism and Electoral Compulsions: A Quest for Systemic

Solutions - with special reference to India”.

He has authored a book “Beyond a Billion Ballots”. He has also authored a few books in

Marathi language including "Ekaki Purvanchal" – a book on North-East states of India. In

1998, he received an award for the best literary work from the Government of Maharashtra

for his co-edited work Nivadak Manoos, a book in Marathi language.

Dr. Vijay Bhatkar is a computer scientist and a Padma Bhushan awardee. India's computer

magazine Dataquest has placed him among the pioneers who shaped India's IT industry. Dr.

Bhatkar is best known as the architect of India's national initiative in supercomputing. He

developed the first supercomputer, the Param 8000 in 1991, and then later the Param 10000

in 1998. Based on the Param series of supercomputers, he built the National Param

Supercomputing Facility (NPSF), which has been now made available as a grid computing

facility through Garuda grid on the National Knowledge Network (NKN), providing nationwide

access to High Performance Computing (HPC) infrastructure.

Award (1984-85), Electronics Man of the Year (1992), Priyadarshini Award (2000),

VIJAY BHATKAR

Prof. J P Verma, Professor and Dean Students Welfare at Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education (LNIPE), has an experience of more than 35 years of teaching and research. Prof. Verma has served as an in-charge Vice Chancellor of LNIPE since Nov. 2014 to Sept 2015. He possess three masters degree; in Statistics, Psychology and Computer application besides PhD degree in mathematics. He has nine books published by Wiley, Springer, McGraw Hills and Kindle on research and statistics in the area of management, psychology, exercise science, health, sports and physical education. He has a patent to his credit on FitnessWatch (A fitness assessment and management system for school children and youth). Prof. Verma was a visiting fellow in the University of Sydney in 2002. He had an academic visit in Bulgaria, Qatar, Australia, Poland and Scotland and conducted numerous workshops on research methodology and statistics in many of the foreign and Indian universities.

Shri. Sandeep Singh is a Post Graduate in Rural Development from Xavier Institute of Social

Sciences (XISS) Ranchi. Shri Sandeep has also specialized in Media Planning from the Mudra

Institute of Communications Ahmedabad (MICA) and in General Business Management from the

Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore.

He has worked in various positions in ASSOCHAM, RK Swamy/BBDO, Hindustan Thomson &

Associates (HTA), AC Nielsen, ORG-MARG, and as Vice-President with ETC. Network, SABe TV

and Sahara News. He was instrumental in positioning SABe TV as a Comedy Channel. He was

also instrumental in the launch of Sahara Samay Bihar & Jharkhand, and Sahara Samay NCR.

Some of the books authored by him are “Business of Freedom, an initiative for School of Indian

Management”, “Indian Ocean Strategy, Indian Management in Practice", “Simhavolokan”, and

“Tiny Tall Tales”.

Shri Patanjali JhaPatanjali Jha is Principal Commissioner of Income Tax-1, Bhopal

He did his M.A. (Economics), Delhi School of Economics and joined IRS. He served in Assessment, Investigation, Central, TDS, I&CI & Headquarters of Income Tax Department in cities like Mumbai, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Indore and Khandwa.

He is currently a Practicing Natural Farmer since last fourteen years. We were experimenting with no tilling, chemical free, pesticides free farming on the banks of holy river Narmada in Khalghat, Dist. Khargone, Madhya Pradesh. He is also working with Eco Task Force of Indian Army for cleaning river Ganga and few other river systems in Himalayas. Hosted Sadhguru during Rally for Rivers Campaign to showcase the model of agro forest developed by us at Vanya Natural Farm.

Mr Ajit Kumar has since 10 years working as Planner, Organiser and Institution

Builder, bringing diverse and prominent groups together. He is a Speaker,

External Examiner, Advisor, Teacher, Innovator, Entrepreneur, Mentor and

Motivator, and is working on SDGs targeting 10 mn Sustainable and Satisfying

Smt. Bharati ThakurBharati Thakur, an avid traveller, environment lover, a well-known Marathi

writer was a Central government employee in Maharashtra. In October 2005,

she undertook the Narmada Parikrama, a 3200?km arduous journey along

the bank of the Narmada River. Her diary written in Marathi language during

the Parikrama has been published in a book form (Narmada Parikrama – Ek

Antaryatra) and has won many laurels. She started teaching school dropouts

and students very weak in studies, at Lepa and 15 more villages, on the south

banks of Narmada.

In 2010, with the help of like-minded people of Mandleshwar, she set up Nimar

Abhyudaya Rural Management And Development Association—in short

NARMADA.

After completing his B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. from IIT Mumbai, Prof. Deshmukh has been

associated with teaching, research, and consultancy. He was a faculty of IIT Mumbai and

Delhi. He offered his consultancy to industry leaders such as ACC, Bharti Telecoms, IOC,

India Today Publications, and Nucleus Software. Organizations like WHO and World Bank

also benefitted from his consultations.

He was actively involved in creating web based solutions and developing modules under

National Programme for Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) under sponsorship of

MHRD, Government of India. Prof. Deshmukh is also an adept writer and has written for

several journals of international repute. He is affiliated with professional societies such as

ASI, IIIE, ISME, NCQM, and POMS among others.

SHANTANU MUKHERJEE

Shantanu Mukharji is a retired IPS officer . His last assignment (2010-2015) was the

National Security Advisor to the Prime Minister of Mauritius .

He had also served in the elite Special Protection Group ( SPG) for many years overseeing

security of the Prime Ministers . Later , he was in the India's prestigious external intelligence

agency, RAW and served many foreign countries to oversee India's security interests . He

was also the chief consultant to the president of Zambia ( 2008-09) . Recipient of the Indian

police medal for meritorious service and President Police Medal for distinguished service ,

Shri Mukharji is a highly decorated police officer with multiple areas of responsibilities . He is

a prolific writer on security issues and he comes on tv as a panelist on international and

national matters of security concern . He also motivates underprivileged children in rural

schools inspiring them to lead the society .

Lt Gen. (Retd) Manvender Singh PVSM, AVSM, VSM ex commandant IMA is

founder director of Sportseed Pro. His contribution to introduce scientific

training at prestigious Indian Military Academy, Dehradun has transformed the
