RAMMED-EARTH WORKSHOP

The workshop porposes lectures, earth tests, building a Rammed Earth wall, visiting the Island and enjoying the sea and landscape. Timur Ersen will hold this workshop on 13.09.2015 - 20.09.2015 . He is an architect and has learned to build in Rammed earth by working with Martin Rauch, an

Austrian craftsman and pioneer of this technique in contemporary architecture. For more information : www.timurersen.com

Participants should register by mail before the 1st of August 2015. It is open to 8 - 12 participants.

Tranport: Istanbul to Maramara Island in 3 hours by ferry boats twice a day (www.ido.com.tr/en)The price for the participation is 1200 TL (430 euros). It includes everything during the week on the

island (accommodation, food, visits, workshop).
