I was Project Manager for NMS client Doosan Power System providing network infrastructure managed services to sites in the UK and Global locations.

I took full responsibility for delivering projects of varying technologies both software migration and hardware deployment with full project life cycle from Kick 0ff meeting to Handover to live services. I had sole responsibility for the resource plan, the project plan, change management process and handover to services to Northgate Managed Services Helpdesk for onward support.

The Projects for Doosan Power System were of various sizes in terms of value and delivery time scales. I was responsible for the management and governance of over 20 Infrastructures project consisting of, LAN, WAN, SAN and VoIP network.

My responsibilities on a daily basis were to;

Schedule and lead project meeting face to face, video conference or telephone conference calls with stakeholders, NMS technical resources and third parties sub-contractors.

Follow up on actions and track updates. Review Project Proposal documentation and plan technical resources with the correct skill set

requirement via NWS project tracking tool called ChangePoint. Monitor and review project cost and project scope. Take ownership of the project plans and understanding the customer deliverables and

Business Unit requirements. Issues project RAG status updates to Doosan directors and project team members. Developed project change control process and risk management process for all the active

projects. Managed on-site project implementation activities including third party both in normal working

hours and out of hours deliverables. Ensure NMS Services desk were informed of onsite project activities at all times. Created communications plans ensuring all members were aware of reporting status, project

tracking and escalating plans to resolve issues. Monitor Purchase Orders that were issued for each project and achieve payments into NMS

account managers. Worked closely NMS Customer Service Delivery Manger. Worked closely with NMS Pre Sales and bid managers on future project coming into NMS. Infrastructure Project Manager - MoD HP in TelfordFebruary 2008 to May 2011The MoD Defence Information Infrastructure (DIIF) programme was to refresh the ageing legacy desktop environment over a 10 year period at all military bases in the UK and overseas.I joined the programme in 2008 and as Project Manager was responsible for the implementation of new LAN and WAN build at MoD sites in the Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, East Anglia region.In that 3.5 years I spent on the programme over I was responsible for over 10,000 Dell desktops

deployments to both military and business units within time and within budget utilising Prince2 project methodology.I was accountable for the management and control of key stake holder’s deliverables, established communication plans and escalation paths at project start-up meetings.

I created project plans in MSP format and maintained project forecasting to achieve project deliverables, stakeholder’s expectations and budget control. I managed the Decision Point stage management of each of the multiple sites (15 separate projects) to ascertain a go/no-go action before proceeding to the next stage of the Governance process.

I successfully managed the migration of multiple MoD military (Army and RAF) and civilian resources data files onto new DELL desktop environment and the upgrade of MS core application and business critical software deployed by the MoD to the Business Units.

I Managed the MoD data file structures moving from Legacy system to new Defence Information Infrastructure (DII F).

I managed all project milestones and resolved all issued raised during the planning stages and the implementation stages.

I created and issued financial documentation to MoD to ensure 100% payment to ATLAS PSO on a monthly requirement.

I took ownership of the RAF bases and Army barracks site Data Centre build/upgrade, SAN, WAN and LAN and desktop hardware roll out implementation stages. I managed the change control process, issue and risk management and maintain project deliverables avoiding project scope creep.

I Managed the Business community expectation of the implementation and maintain business as usual continuity during site implementation phases minimising disruption to the Business Units.

I was responsible for the logistics of all hardware delivered to MoD site, hardware asset management database and as-build documentation and site sign off process before handing over into the live MoD Customer Services Delivery Management Control and site closure.
