2004 Amines Amines Q 0120 Rapid and Efficient Microwave-Assisted Amination of Electron-Rich Aryl Ha- lides Without a Transition-Metal Catalyst. — The present new direct amination method proceeds without any use of metal catalysts under microwave irradiation. It is applicable to various secondary aliphatic and aromatic amines to afford products in good yield. Additionally, both aryl chloride and aryl iodide [cf. (IV)] can be used for the process.
