EASY-TO-INSTALL1.0 Setting

1.1 Look for the lay-out and center lines references1.2 Set the frame based on these provisions.1.3 Hinge Jamb and Strike Jamb should have a minimum gap from the wall side of 20mm while that of the header side not less than 100mm should be provided for hand movement during grouting.

2.0 Plumbing and bracing2.1 The installer should be equipped with a carpenter level, square and plumb bob with string.2.2 Level the Header2.3 Square jambs to header. Shim under frame if necessary2.4 Plumb and square the frame

3.0 Dowelling and Welding3.1 Weld frame stiffeners to initial dowel provided on site3.2 Install vertical deformed bars by welding to dowels3.3 Weld frame stiffeners to the vertical bars3.4 Check alignment

4.0 Formworks4.1 Install formworks.4.2 Make sure to take into consideration allowances for grooves and skim coating or plastering

5.0 Grouting5.1 Mix grout as specified 5.2 Ensure that the mixture consistency is enough to penetrate the throat of the jamb, ensure a not “pumpable” consistency, a maximum slump consistency of 4” is recommended.5.3 Pour grout on the jamb throat by layer 5.4 Tap the form as pouring progresses to remove air bubbles to prevent honeycomb of grout5.5 Hand trowel grout on the header side

6.0 Curing and Stripping6.1 Remove formworks after 8 hours or after grout has completely set.6.2 Remove excess grouts6.3 Clean
