Dates contain essential nutrients, and are rich

in protein, fiber, sugar, vitamins A and C

including minerals such as calcium and

sodium. Its sugar contents include up to 50 to

57 % of glucose. This proves that sugar occur

naturally in dates which means our body

absorbs the energy immediately provided by

the dates that we consume.

Medically the absence of cholesterol, fat and

sugar in dates are excellent in controlling

blood pressure. According to some traditional

practices, dates are said to enhance and

revitalize internal strengths.
