Traffic Control Engineer / Engineer In–Charge, Department of Public Works, Infrastructure Services Division, City of Milwaukee. Responsibilities include supervise the Traffic Signals Unit. Write proposals. Represent the Department of Public Works in town hall meetings. Design, implement, and evaluate the traffic signal timing for different intersections; perform traffic studies; traffic impact review; and investigate and respond to public officials and the general public regarding traffic concerns. Network wide simulation and optimization using computerized models. Design, implement, and evaluate Emergency Vehicle Pre–emption Signal timing for different intersections along emergency response routes. Analysis and evaluation of the traffic responsive system.
