FOUNDATION SOLUTIONReal Adventure Services Limited is a piling contractor that specializes in

construction of piles and concrete works to extensions, small developments and

specialist retaining works. We have the ability and capacity to provide piling and

deep foundation solutions for all types of structure proposed for any type of

ground condition. Our Continuous Flight Auger (CFA) and Rotary drilling rigs which

are both powerful and reliable allow us to undertake both small and large diameter

piling to great depths thereby making us the preferred piling contractor of choice

for a wide range of solutions including, Restricted Access Piling, Mini Piling,

Retaining Walls, et. cetera. We are also able to provide the 'complete package' by

designing and constructing the associated reinforced concrete foundation

schemes including: Pile caps, Raft, slabs, Retaining walls, Capping Beams, Ground

Whenever it is of interest to drill a high-yielding water borehole, the first stage is to

undertake an extensive pre-drilling hydrogeological investigation of the area and

the immediate neighbourhood to determine the feasibility or otherwise of the project.

This will involve hydrological, geological, topographical and electrical resistivity survey

of the area in order to identify and delineate exact areas with good and favourable

groundwater storage.Once the best point(s) for sinking borehole(s) is/are

located and the depths to reach during drilling decided using the results obtained

from pre-drilling survey and based on the volume of water required by the client,

a pre-dri l l ing report wil l be prepared at the end of this stage.

The second stage will be to use the results and recommendations from the survey

report to design the borehole(s) to be drilled and then the actual drilling will take

place. We have developed an attitude of getting our works done to specification and/or

c u s t o m e r s ' r e q u i r e m e n t .

COMMUNITY AFFAIRS, SAFETY, HEALTH, ENVIRONMENT AND SECURITY (CASHES)

As part our Corporate Policy, we always relate with our projects’ host communities

in order to enhance cordial relationship while our projects last.

We usually send an advance party prior to the arrival of the Survey Team to discuss

areas of cooperation with the host communities if need arises for that .

Also, within a reasonable and permissible limit, we endeavor to recruit some of our

casual labour from the host communities.

The Head of HSE unit of our company is responsible for safety procedures, training

and compliant all time on the site. He works in conjunction with other safety officers

on the site and MUST ensure the following operations are carried out:

a) Pre-mob safety training.

b) Issuance of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE's) to personnel.

c) Ensure that appropriate safety procedures are followed during the execution of

any particular task.

d) Determining and flagging hazardous points within the project area and on camp.

e) Ensure daily safety prep-talk prior to dispatching of crews.

f) Keep daily records of near miss, accident etc.

g) Responsible for overall safety on camps.

Provision is always made for first-aid box at each of our projects sites, while we also

deploy same in our operational vehicles. Health Talks are occasionally organized for

our office and site personnel as a matter of company’s policy.

We always strive to make our activities environmentally friendly. We are always

mindful of the need to reduce GHG emission, in the process of carrying our our

operations. Wastes materials particularly the non-bio-degradables are properly

disposed of, while other waste materials are separated into their various components

and disposed of in appropriate manner.

Local Security personnel are engaged from our host communities, while encouraging

our personnel to be law abiding at all times, off and on site. We engage Policemen

and other security personnel to provide security on site when and if the need arises.
