Rate&Bill 1.0 was released in 2012 by a team of specialized billing system

architects, spearheaded by Mr. Hosni Hamdi, a Billing Solution architect

with several years of experience, after several months of hard work and

investment. The system was created with its prior objective to make bill-

ing extremely simple and flexible. It can be used by various service provid-

ers of all sizes; small, medium or big, to craft profitable and compelling

offers for their customers.

Service providers do not have to worry about the deployment of their

offer anymore and wished there was some way to test it before it went

live.

Telecom Billing has long been associated with complex and cumbersome

computations. Telecommunications, wireless, internet and other service

providers have had no idea about how billing and customer care system

works and what it is capable of offering them. The desire to change the

system and adapt it to meet individual service offerings remained another

major hurdle.

More often, a whole team of technical staff have been hired to handle

issues that have to do with billing and customer care. The new age of tel-

ecom billing is a relief to service providers who have long struggled with

Mr. Hosni Hamdi, the CEO and Managing Director of Rate&Bill Company

Limited, started his career in 2006 as a JAVA/J2EE Developer in Tunisia.

With humble beginnings, he later worked as a BSCS IX R3 Consultant in

Talan, a well know Information Technology and services firm in France.

Mr. Hamdi later settled in Dubai as a BSCS IX R3 Developer in ERICS-

SON, where he implement change requests in BSCS to fulfill Business

and marketing requirements. He developed new change requests in CX,

CMS, JBOSS Workflow, AQ Listener, scheduler, EAI integration etc. He

also played a crucial role in production support, as part of a fast track team which was responsible for fast

resolving production issues. After 2 years of exceptional performance, he moved up in his career in ERICS-

SON as a BSCS Solution architect. He conducted end-to-end solution design across multiple systems (BSCS,

CRM, OM+, EAI, ICS and Self-care); wrote end-to-end solution design documents to fulfill Business require-

ment; and produced high level and low level design documents for BSCS. He later worked for Accenture in

the same position carrying similar roles and responsibilities as a billing system architect. Among the numer-

ous years of experience, Mr. Hamdi has a frontline project manager experience with Oracle.

Before retiring to form and manage Rate&Bill, a dedication to telecom billing systems, Mr. Hamdi led a team

of professionals in creating a system based on the many years of experience with multinational telecoms

and billing systems. Putting together the strengths and flaws of existing systems, Rate&Bill (v1.0) was born.

Rate&Bill is built on top of the Eclipse Foundation Platform. You can

perform real test scenarios under simulation using the smart rating

simulator module.

The exceptional flexibility and adaptability of our system allows it to

be installed on the same platform with other systems without any

form of technical difficulties experienced.

The system is composed of separate but tightly integrated modules,

services can choose just the functionality they need, or easily extend

the software for a fully tailored solution .

Invoices are generated quickly and easily with different template and

layout options, and what’s more, it’s intelligent, allowing users to

charge the correct amount to their clients automatically — without

any extra operations — either in real time or by batch.

Rate&Bill comes with the Customer Care, Rating , Billing Invoicing

plugins already installed. Additional plug-ins may be requested based

on preferences of services providers.
