Bio

Raul Brindis, one of Houston’s most loved on-air Hispanic personalities, came to the U.S. from Matam-oros, Tamaulipas, Mexico, where he obtained a degree in Civil Engineering.

For more than two decades, Raúl Brindis has charmed audiences across South Texas. His special brand of humor, characters, music and enthusiasm make “El Show de Raul Brindis y Pepito” the leading Spanish morning show in Houston. His listeners are loyal and they do not turn the dial. The show features thoughtful reflections of life, interviews with artists like Enrique Iglesias, politicians like President Barack Obama, sports stars like Oscar de la Hoya, astronauts and more.

Raul’s massive appeal and influence is more than just radio: His television appearances include Univi-sion Network shows like: “Despierta America,” “Viva el Sueño,” “Sabado Gigante,” “Nuestra Belleza Latina”, “Premio lo Nuestro”, “Premios Juventud” and “Festival del Mariachi.”

Raul has been recognized for his successful career and community service with two NAB Marconi Radio Awards, Medallas de Cortez, the Houston Air Award (2005), 2005 Mr. Turista of South Texas , 2006 City of Hidalgo U.S. Ambassador of International Goodwill among others.
