RAVENSDALE GARDENS & RUSHDEN CLOSE Welcome to our second drop in event to discuss proposals for the development of new homes in your neighbourhood. Croydon Council and their development company Brick by Brick are seeking to build 1,000 new affordable and private sale homes for local people on Council owned sites across the borough by 2019. We met some of you on Tuesday 28 June and have listened to your comments. You have also sent us your initial responses. Today you will see some of the feedback and some changes we have made to our initial proposals in response to your comments, and those from Croydon Council’s planning team. Brick by Brick is a private, independent company, set up by the Council as its own development company. The aim is to achieve 1,000 new homes in Croydon by 2019.

HTA Design are the Architects and Landscape Architects for the project, and are specialists that design housing and regenerate neighbourhoods working closely with local communities.

Newman Francis

Community engagement specialists, managing the programme of engagement on the sites. They will be gathering feedback, organising events, working with stakeholders and answering webform and telephone enquiries.

This is the currently anticipated timeline for the project.

We welcome your feedback as we develop designs for new homes and improvements across your neighbourhood. Construction is currently scheduled to start in Spring / Summer 2017 and finish in late 2019. We will keep residents updated throughout the process.

There will be further consultation before a planning application is submitted and more design information for you to give your feedback on.
