The Truth About Meat & Dairy The fact is, the human body does not have any need to imbibe animal products, flesh or otherwise, and the purported claims of potential protein deficiency are bogus. The human body can absolutely thrive on a dietary lifestyle free of all animal products. All living things contain amino acids, which build proteins. Therefore the human body can adequately thrive on a vegan diet alone. In addition, many sources will explain that the length of our digestive tract mirrors that of the primate species, which is herbivorous. The carnivorous species, such as the lion, has a digestive tract half the length of ours, thus moving the animal products more quickly through their system. In contrast, when we eat meat, it takes so long for it to move through our bodies that by the time it is assimilated in the large intestine, it has completely putrefied! It may take many years for the symptoms to arise, but this lethal process is the cause of much of our society’s physical demise. as heart disease, diabetes, and cancer. The benefits of going raw-vegan are

boundless. Raw foods are easy to digest, and they provide the maximum amount of energy with minimal bodily effort.
