Razan Masad [email protected] Regional Electoral Officer for the United Nations Development Programme’s (UNDP) Regional Electoral Support Project for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) at the Hub of the Regional Bureau for Arab States in Amman, Jordan . For the last two years, she has been involved in conducting regional research and analysis of elections and democratic institutions, facilitation of the Arabic ACE Electoral Knowledge Network, and electoral programme design . Masad has a master’s degree in Public Policy and Global Affairs from the University of Ottawa, Canada, where she specialised in UN Peace Operations, the role of institutional development in peacebuilding, and violence in elections .
