Canada's leading organizations made a commitment
to significantly contribute to youth employment by
developing Career Edge, a unique and innovative
paid internship program.

• Successfully placing all 10 planned Interns each year
(34 Interns supported to-date)
• Approximately 80% of Interns have been subsequently hired
full-time by the RBC Commercial client
• Exceptional feedback from Commercial Account Managers,
Vice Presidents, and RBC Commercial clients
• Requests to go national

Host ProgramGuidelines:
Have a current professional-level hiring requirement;
Demonstrate a commitment to diversity & inclusion;
Be able to assign a coach/mentor;
Have a designated HR representative available;
Agree to funding model;
Agree to provide a meaningful work experience and;
Agree to provide feedback on the overall program.
RBC Career Bridge Associate
Host ProgramFunding model:
Six month internship;
RBC pays initial 3 months and ALL program-related
costs (approx. $13,000);
Employer Host pays the final 3 months (approx.
$7,800);
Internship can be extended ($3,450 / month)
Intern can be hired on at end of internship period (n/c)
