1.- ANTECEDENTES: se requiere la revisión estructural de una cisterna para almacenamiento de barbotina de 50 m3 de capacidad y planta octagonal, conformada con muros y losas de fondo y cubierta en concreto reforzado, dicha cisterna se deplantarà sobre un relleno compactado de material inerte en el área de molienda discontinua de las instalaciones. 2.- REGLAMENTOS DE DISEÑO UTILIZADOS: “Manual de Construcciones” de la C.F.E. Reglamento del A.C.I. 318-05 3.- BIBLIOGRAFIA UTILIZADA: “Retaining and Flood Walls”, EM 1110-2-2502, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. “Foundation análisis and design”, J.E. Bowles, M.G.H. Ed. 4.- ANALISIS DE CARGAS: 4.a.- Antecedentes: dada la estructura en cuestión, su tipo, geometría y ubicación geográfica, de acuerdo al reglamento se hará una revisión para cargas gravitacionales y sìsmicas, ya que son las que rigen el diseño estructural. 4.b.- Materiales para análisis: para la elaboración del modelo estructural se han considerado básicamente los siguientes materiales: acero y concreto. Los valores de las propiedades mecánicas para estos materiales se muestran a continuación: Concreto Acero Módulo de Elasticidad: 221,386 kg/cm² 2’089,704 kg/cm² Cociente de Poisson: 0.17 0.3 Densidad: 2,403 kg/m³ 7,833 kg/m³ Amortiguamiento Crítico: 0.05 0.03 Coeficiente Térmico (α): 5.5 x 10-6 6.6 x 10-6

4.c.- Cargas de Análisis: las cargas gravitacionales y sìsmicas a considerar son las siguientes: Carga Muerta (CM), constituida por: Peso propio de las losas y muros de la cisterna,se toma en cuenta con el comando “selfweight” de la plataforma de análisis. Peso de accesorios sobre cubierta – 288.00 kg/m2. Peso de agitador y transmisión: 1,000 kg.

Carga Viva (CV), constituida por: Sobre losa de cubierta, una carga uniforme de 1,000 kg/m2. Para la carga hidrostática (CH),sobre muros y losa de fondo se considera un peso volumétrico de γ = 1.70 ton/m3. Respecto al empuje estàtico lateral del terreno, este se calcula mediante el método de la cuña de Rankine tomando un peso volumétrico de γ = 1.90 ton/m3, una sobrecarga (surchage) de 8,000 kg/m2 y un factor ka = 0.311. Para las cargas accidentales por sismo se toman los valores de un espectro de diseño para la zona sísmica “B” y un tipo de suelo II, se tienen entonces los siguientes valores para una revisión estática simplificada: coeficiente sísmico básico, c = 0.30 ordenada espectral inicial, a0 = 0.08 T1 = 0.30 seg T2 = 1.50 seg r = 2/3 Las cargas sìsmicas del terreno(CST)se evalùan al aplicar la fórmula de Mononobe-Okabe con un àngulo de friccion interna φ = 27º y coeficientes kh = 0.06 y kv = 0.0 siendo β = 0º, θ = 0º.

Dichas cargas se integran en el modelo como cargas uniformemente distribuidas y cargas puntuales sobre los elementos estructurales.

4e.- Recomendaciones de Mecánica de Suelos: la cimentación se desplantará sobre una plantilla de concreto f’c = 100 kg/cm2 a una profundidad de 3.00 m a partir del nivel de piso existente, sobre relleno compactado de material inerte, el cual posee una capacidad de carga admisible de 12 ton/m2 para cargas estáticas y 15 ton/m2 para cargas accidentales y una “reacción de subsuelo”de k = 1.85 kg/ cm²/cm para modelar la cimentación como una placa sobre un lecho elástico. 4f.- Formulación del modelo estructural: los muros, la placa de cimentación y la losa de cubierta se discretizaron mediante elementos finitos, tanto triangulares como cuadriláteros existentes en la librería de la plataforma de análisis. La reacción del suelo (reacción de sub-suelo) se modela mediante resortes lineales elásticos colocados en los nudos de esquina de los elementos finitos que constituyen la placa de cimentación. La plataforma de análisis realiza internamente los cálculos necesarios para el acoplamiento mecánico entre los elementos bidimensionales. Mediante la plataforma de análisis se lleva a cabo un análisis de tipo P-delta, obteniéndose así los valores de las reacciones de apoyo, solicitaciones en los elementos, desplazamientos y rotaciones para los distintos casos y combinaciones de carga. 5.- DISEÑO ESTRUCTURAL: 5a.- Diseño de la estructura: utilizando la plataforma de diseño para elementos de concreto se han encontrado las cantidades de acero de refuerzo necesarias para resistir los esfuerzos flexionantes y cortantes que actúan sobre los elementos de la placa de cimentación y sobre los muros y la losa de cubierta. Se tomaron en cuenta los siguientes valores para el concreto y el acero de refuerzo: f’c = 250 kg/cm², fy = 4200 kg/cm². Ver Anexo # 2.

6.- CONCLUSIONES: las secciones iniciales de los elementos estructurales se propusieron tomando en cuenta las recomendaciones de reglamentos de diseño anteriores, debido a esto en su mayor parte las cantidades de acero de refuerzo para los miembros de concreto resultaron ser la cuantía mínima exigida en los reglamentos vigentes; respecto a los asentamientos obtenidos de efecto inmediato resultaron ser de 4.8 mm, la presión de base máx. obtenida es de 8.665 ton/m2, finalmente debe de verificarse cuidadosamente en campo que se cumplan las normas de recubrimiento para el acero de refuerzo, así como el grado de compactación exigido en los planos de construcción Los resultados anteriores se muestran en el Anexo #1 (imágenes del modelo), Anexo #2 (diseño en concreto). En base a todo lo anterior se concluye que la estructura es segura
