1.- ANTECEDENTES: se requiere la revisión estructural de la cimentaciòn para un secador vertical EVA793-993 de planta rectangular, conformada con muros y losa de fondo en concreto reforzado, dicha fosa se deplantará sobre un estrato de terreno firme en el área interior de prensas de la planta. 2.- REGLAMENTOS DE DISEÑO UTILIZADOS: “Manual de Construcciones” de la C.F.E. Reglamento del A.C.I. 318-93 Normas Técnicas Complementarias del R.C.D.F. 3.- BIBLIOGRAFIA UTILIZADA: “Bearing capacity of soils”, U.S. Army Corps of engineers.1992. “Foundation análisis and design”, J.E. Bowles, M.G.H. Ed.. 1996. 4.- ANALISIS DE CARGAS: 4.a.- Antecedentes: dada la estructura en cuestión, su tipo, geometría y ubicación geográfica, de acuerdo al reglamento se hará una revisión para cargas gravitacionales y sìsmicas, ya que son las que rigen el diseño estructural. 4.b.- Materiales para análisis: para la elaboración del modelo estructural se han considerado básicamente los siguientes materiales: acero y concreto. Los valores de las propiedades mecánicas para estos materiales se muestran a continuación: Concreto Acero Módulo de Elasticidad: 221,386 kg/cm² 2’089,704 kg/cm² Cociente de Poisson: 0.17 0.3 Densidad: 2,403 kg/m³ 7,833 kg/m³ Amortiguamiento Crítico: 0.05 0.03 Coeficiente Térmico (α): 5.5 x 10-6 6.6 x 1

4.c.- Cargas de Análisis: Carga Muerta (CM), constituida por: Peso propio de las losas y muros de la fosa,se toma en cuenta con el comando “selfweight” de la plataforma de análisis. Peso de accesorios – 50.00 kg/m2. Carga de Operación (CO), constituida por el siguiente grupo de cargas sobre el marco metálico: P1 = 4,077 kg P2 = 9,480 kg P3 = 11,213 kg P4 = 12,946 kg Carga total sobre el marco: 61,162 kg Carga Viva (CV), constituida por: Sobre losa de fondo, una carga uniforme de 350 kg/m2. Para las cargas accidentales por sismo (CS) se toman los valores de un espectro de diseño para la zona sísmica “B” y un tipo de suelo II, se tienen entonces los siguientes valores para una revisión estática simplificada: coeficiente sísmico básico, c = 0.30 factor de ductilidad, Q = Q’ = 2.5 coeficiente sísmico, Cs = 0.12 Las cargas sìsmicas del terreno(CST)se evalùan al aplicar la fórmula de Mononobe-Okabe con un àngulo de friccion interna φ = 27º y coeficientes kh = 0.06 y kv = 0.0 siendo β = 0º, θ = 0º.

Para establecer la carga debida al empuje lateral del terreno (CLT) sobre las paredes de las fosas se utilizò el mètodo de la cuña de Rankine al considerar una sobrecarga qs=1’100 kg/m2), un peso volumétrico γ =1’900 kg/m3 y un factor ka=0.311, obteniendo asì la distribución trapecial de la carga lateral. Dichas cargas se integran en el modelo como cargas uniformemente distribuidas y puntuales sobre las superficies de la cimentación.

4f.- Formulación del modelo estructural: los distintos elementos de la cimentación se discretizaron mediante elementos finitos, tanto triangulares como cuadriláteros existentes en la librería de la plataforma de análisis. La reacción del suelo (reacción de sub-suelo) se modela mediante resortes lineales elásticos colocados en los nudos de esquina de los elementos finitos que constituyen la placa de cimentación. La plataforma de análisis realiza internamente los cálculos necesarios para el acoplamiento mecánico entre los elementos bidimensionales. Mediante la plataforma de análisis se lleva a cabo un análisis de segundo orden P-delta, obteniéndose así los valores de las reacciones de resorte, solicitaciones en los elementos, desplazamientos y rotaciones para los distintos casos y combinaciones de carga. 5.- DISEÑO ESTRUCTURAL: 5a.- Diseño de la cimentación: utilizando la plataforma de diseño para elementos de concreto se han encontrado las cantidades de acero de refuerzo necesarias para resistir los esfuerzos flexionantes y cortantes que actúan sobre los distintos elementos de la cimentación, resultando ser en todos los casos la cuantìa mìnima exigida en el reglamento, asimismo se realizó una revisión contra reglamento del perfil estructural metálico anclado a los muros de la fosa.Se tomaron en cuenta los siguientes valores para el concreto y el acero de refuerzo: f’c = 250 kg/cm², fy = 4200 kg/cm². Ver Anexo # 2.

6.- CONCLUSIONES: las dimensiones de los elementos de la cimentación se propusieron tomando en cuenta las recomendaciones del reglamento, debido a esto las cantidades de acero de refuerzo para los elementos de concreto resultaron ser la cuantía mínima exigida en los reglamentos vigentes; respecto a los desplazamientos verticales màximos obtenidos de efecto inmediato son de 4.1 mm bajo la losa de cimentación el cual es aceptable, asimismo la màxima presiòn de base resultò ser de 0.99 kg/cm2 bajo los muros perimetrales de la fosa, la cual es menor a la permisible recomendada de 1.60 kg/cm2. Los resultados anteriores se muestran en el Anexo #1 (imágenes del modelo), Anexo #2 (diseño de concreto y acero), finalmente se recomienda verificar cuidadosamente en campo que se cumplan las normas de recubrimiento para el acero de reduerzo, así como el grado de compactación exigido en los planos de construcción. En base a todo lo anterior se concluye que la estructura es segura.
