e) Partially tighten each screw, but do not ullytighten the screws until all o them have been

started (see Figure 6).

) Gently tighten each screw until they are frmlyholding the unit in place. The top ront edge othe unit should clear the overhang.

Mounting Suggestions

1) I your cabinet has obstructions inside it which prevent you rom using the template, cut out the correspondingarea on the template, but do NOT cut out or through the screw holes.

2) I your cabinet has obstructions underneath it, which will interere with the mounting o the unit, removethe obstruction beore mounting the unit, or fnd another location to mount the unit.

3) It is recommended that you wear saety glasses while drilling to prevent eye injuries.

4) For wood cabinets, you may want to mark the hole locations with a nail, pressed gently but frmly into

the wood so that a slight impression is made. This will also help keep the drill bit centered in the rightlocation.

5) Hold the drill frmly against the cabinet to keep the drill rom walking.

Turnin th Unit On

While the power cord is connected and the unit is on standby, power will be consumed and only the clockdisplaywillash.

Dolby Diital (for DvD)

Dolby Digital is a technology developed by Dolby Laboratories. Soundtracks encoded in Dolby Digital can

reproduce rom one to 5.1 discrete channels o excellent quality audio.The unit automatically recognizes the Dolby Digital bitstream and provides a downmix suitable or two-channel listening. An additional Dolby Digital decoder is required or reproduction o the discrete multi-channelsoundtracks available on many DVDs.

SOUND SySTEM

Pressthe ON/Off button to turn the unit on, DVD will appear on the ront display.

Ater a short period o time, the DVD logo (start-up picture) will appear on the screen.

PresstheDVD/TV/RADiO button (the fUNCTiON button on the remote control) to TV mode, TV willappear on the ront panel display.

Ater a short period o time, and the TV program will begin on the screen.

PresstheDVD/TV/RADiO button (the fUNCTiON button on the remote control) to RADIO mode, FMrequency will appear on the ront panel display.

SETTiNG ThE CLOCK

To adjust the clock, the unit must be in standby mode. To enter standby mode, make sure that the unit isplugged in, but not turned on.

Checkthattheratedvoltageoftheunitmatchesyourlocalvoltage.

4. Press the / buttons to set to desired timethen press the SET CLOCK button once to startthe clock.

1. When the AC power cord is plugged in, the clockdisplay will blink.

SETTiNG ThE COOKiNG TiMER

1. Press the TiMER button. The TIMER indicatorappears and the cooking time 10 blinks.

2. Press the / buttons on the unit to selectyour desired time rom 1-99 minutes.

PresstheTiMER button repeatedly to selectollowing preset times: 10, 15, 30, 45, 60, 75, 90minutes. You can then fne-tune your time byusing the / buttons on the unit.

Pressandholdthe / buttons on the unitto ast orward/reverse to desired time.

4. To turn OFF the ALARM, press the TiMER buttononce. Otherwise, the ALARM will automaticallyturn o ater 60 minutes i no button is pressed.

Cancelling the Cooking Timer

PresstheTiMER button until the time o the cooking timer shows OFF . The TIMER indicator willdisappear.

3. When the preset time elapses, the ALARM willsound.

3. Press the / buttons to set the currenthours then press the SET CLOCK button onceto confrm. The MINUTES will now blink.

I a DVD contains title/chapter numbers, you can locate a specifc title/chapter by directly selecting a title/chapter number.

1. In STOP/PLAY mode, press the GOTO button.

2. Press the or button to highlight a specifc feld andpress the or button button to select the title/chapter

you want.3. Press the ENTER button to confrm. Playback starts rom

the selected title/chapter.

Display Function

While the disc is playing, press the DiSPLAy button on the remote control repeatedly to display inormationon operation status.

Locatin a Spcific Ti

You can move to a specifc location by entering its corresponding time (hours, minutes, seconds).

1. Press the GOTO button twice or DVD (once or CD), ascreen shown as right will be displayed on the screen.

2. Enter the corresponding number buttons or the setting pointyou want.

3. Press the ENTER button to confrm. Playback starts rom

the selected location.
