Nate Cothran manages the authority control and automation services team for Backstage Library Works. He brings to Backstage a strong understanding of consumer needs, years of supervisory experience, and a rounded knowledge of the library automation industry. y y
During his 16 years at Backstage, Nate has been responsible for all machine projects including Marcadia, barcodes, authority control, internal software development and hardware maintenance.
Prior to being promoted to Vice President, Nate was an Authority Control Project Manager for many years He has also spent time at Backstage as ayears. He has also spent time at Backstage as a Retrospective Conversion Project Manager, Training Team Leader and spent four years with the IT department.
Nate is also an avid science-fiction reader and enjoys writing programs.
