    Introduction

    Jovy Systems was established in the year 2005. Actual

    production phase started late 2006, with our first product the RE

    7500,whichusedforthereworkingofBGA&SMD.

    The IRTechnology usedgives the RE7500 theopportunity to

    fit in a wide range and variety of applications fields, for example,

    GSM, Networking, Medical, and Military fields as well. This makes

    RE7500,theoptimumsolutiontoa largesectoroftheBGA&SMD

    reworkingcommunities.

    This manual structure enable a technician with noprevious

    knowledgeofthesystem,tobecomefamiliarwiththeoperationand

    maintenanceusingRE7500ReworkingSystem.

    Thesafetysectionofthemanualexplainstheinherentdangers

    presented by any type of soldering/desoldering equipment and

    warningstominimizetheriskofinjuryduetoignorance.

    This unit operates by electricity. And some components within thedevicehavehighdangerousvoltagesappliedtothem.

    Failing to follow the operating instructions could result in death,seriousinjuries,and/orextensivedamagetoproperty!

    NeveropenthehousingoroneoftheInfraredheaterswhilemainplugis

    connected.

    Do not use the units for any purpose other than which they areintendedto.Useitaccordingtotheoperatinginstructions.

    Thisequipmentmustnotbeswitchedonorusedwithoutsupervision. Theunitshouldswitchedofforinidlestatewhilenotinuse,leavingit

    ONmaycauseoverheating.

    Do not place any flammable material on the vicinity of the Infraredheater.

    Do not allow the spillage of any liquid to on the ceramic emitter asdamagemayoccur.

    Please use the Infrared heater only on a level and non flammablesurface.

    WhentheInfraredheaterisinuse,itshousingandtheareasexposedtothe infrared rays can reach high level of temperature. Please do not

    touchthehousinguntilitcooleddown.

    A)OperationModes:

    1 ParkMode:

    Thismodeisusedinthefollowingcases:

    -BeforeprocesstoalignthePCBusingtheLaserpointer.-AfterprocesstocooldownthePCBusingthecoolingFan-DuringprocessinpreheatingthePCBandbeforestartReflowstage.-In Park Mode the upper heater is always OFF. (Except while

    applyingaprofile).

    The defaultmode of themachine, in this mode, all parts of the

    machineareturnedOFF.

    -ThismodedesignedtoassuresafetyofthemachineandtheUseraswell.Inthismodeyoucanadjustatimerbetween5minto30min.

    IF the machine is left working without any key is pressed for this

    period,itwillgointosleepmode.

    -Lower Heater (UPDown keys): used to change Lower HeaterStatusandtoscrollup&downinmenualsotosetupanymachine

    settings.

    -OK/Menu:usedtoopenmenuandalsotoselectanyiteminsidetheMenu.

    -Fan/Cancel:ithastwostatuses,1stwhenyouareviewingamenuitwill act to cancel and 2nd when you areoutside any menu it will

    -Adjust

    the

    PCB

    to

    the

    XY

    table

    out

    of

    operation

    area.

    -EverytimeyoupowerONthemachineyoushouldleavetheLowerHeater on Reflow Mode for 5 min until the Guard Glassbecome

    saturatedwithheat.

    -YoushouldalignthePCBusingtheLaserpointersothatthepointerwillbeinthecenterofthedesiredcomponent.

    -MakesurethatthemachineissituatedinParkMode.

    -Put the Thermocouple (TC) in any place near to the desiredcomponent.

    -AdjustthelowerHeatertothedesiredmode.-If youhave any componentwhichcanbeaffectedordamagedby

    excess heat, you should cover it with reflective tape to prevent

    Infraredraystoreachit.

    -Monitor the screen until the PCB reach a temperature from 80C(176 F)to120 C(248 F).

    -Rotate the upper heater so the machine enters the Normal Mode,andthenadjusttheupperheatertothedesiredmode.

    -Monitor the screen until the PCB reaches a temperaturebetween180 C(356 F)and230 C(446 F).

    -RemovethecomponentusingthePickuptoolafteryoupowerONthe pump switch. Or use the proper twisters to remove the other

    components(plasticparts,connectors,etc.)

    -Returnback the machine to Park mode and press Fan switch forcoolingstage.

    -UsingProfilingfeatureinJovySystemsRe7500youcancontrolthemode

    of

    the

    two

    heaters

    during

    the

    process

    at

    required

    temperature.

    -InRE7500controlpanelyoucanonlyruntheprofilewhichalreadyuploadedtothemachine.

    -TocreateyourownprofileanduploadittothemachineyoumustuseREJOVYsoftware,alsoyoucanruntheprofileusingthesame

    software.

    -TostartrunaprofilethemachinemustbeinParkMode.-Duringrunprofileyouwillhavenocontrolonthemachinesoyou

    musttakecaretorunthecorrectprofileotherwiseyoumayusethe

    cancelbuttontoexittheprofileMode.

    -RE7500has3readymadeprofilesLeadfree,Profile1,Profile2.-Thesuccesstimeforaprofilevariesaccordingtoroomtemperature

    andadjustingtheupperheaterlevelsowerecommendthatyouuse

    yourownprofile.

    Before startprofile we advice to set the machine alarm to 300C(572F)orhighersothatnottointerrupttheprocess.Inprofile,theupperheatercanworkinParkModesoyoumusttakecarenottoputanyheatsensitivematerialinthisarea.

    G)REJOVYsoftware

    With REJOVY Software the Complete Reworking process can be

    archived and documented, The USB Connectionbetween RE7500

    and the PC ease the temperature monitoring/Capturing as well as

    setting Systems parameters and Profiles tobe as easy and fast as

    doingyourReworksystemscompletelyAutomatedfromyourPC.

    TobeabletouseREJOVYSoft,havetoinsuretheinstallationofthe

    Drivercorrectly.

    BesuretonotconnecttheMachineuntilyou installtheREJOVYSoftfirst.

    a)Driverinstallationa. Run REJOVY Soft (available in the VIP Support Area at

    www.jovysystems.com).

    Machine..

    DesktopIconAutomatically.

    b. If the Driver was installed successfully and your Machine isconnected,youcanruntheREJovybydoubleclickingtheicon.

    c. Press Connect buttontochecktheconnectivity.YourREJovysoftwillreadtheMachineIDandtheFirmwareIDaswell.
