WHO ARE WE?We are a community mental health not-for-profit organization that focuses on Empowering, Educating and Enriching families with holistic services to offer restoration and hope for a brighter future.

WHY ARE WE?R.E.A.C.H. for Tomorrow is a not-for-profit that was developed to fill gaps in the communities through Restoration (R), Education (E), Advocacy (A), Collaboration (C), and Hope (H).
R.E.A.C.H. believes that by equipping the Church, Schools, Agencies, Organizations and the Community with the tools and knowledge to meet the needs due to traumas experienced, they can empower individuals, restore families and educate the community.

The Project● Will target adolescents aged 12-17 to coincide with the PRIDE survey administration to students in
county school districts.
● Will provide a Collaboration Director who would work directly with Coalition members and community
stakeholders to engage and educate the Medical practitioners, pharmacists and youth on prescription
drug misuse.
● Will combine asset building using the 40 developmental assets to build resilience in children.
● Will develop and distribute educational material to the ,medical community and the public at large on the
dangers of misusing/over prescribing prescription drugs.
● Will provide funding to incorporate an educational session addressing the topic for our annual Equipping
Conference where a variety of topics are presented to build capacity in the community.
Generation Rx- School BasedGeneration Rx mission is to educate people of all ages about the potential dangers of misusing prescription medications.
Prescription medications can help us live longer and healthier lives, but any medication has the potential to do harm – especially when misused.
Generation Rx- School Based“My Generation Rx” includes resources designed to educate teens about the importance of using medications safely, as well as teaching teens key skills to turn down invitations to misuse and positive alternatives to cope with the demands of life.
Generation Rx- School BasedMy Generation Rx addresses: ● Taking medication exactly as prescribed ● Never sharing your medication ● Storing prescription drugs in locked and secure locations● Properly disposing of medications that you no longer need ● Promoting safe medication practices

Activity: Women who are Resistant
Students were given articles about women who were resistant. Such as - Malala Yousafzai, Marie Curie, Helen Keller, Oprah Winfrey & Tegla Loroupe.
Students are then asked to identify the strengths the women used to be able to be resistant.
