GETTING AROUNDRoosevelt’s campus is located in the heart of Chicago, so you can quickly access your favorite destinations and attractions. In this walkable city you can easily get around on foot, or use the train and bus for quick transport. Chicago has the second largest public transportation system in the U.S., so you can get anywhere in just a few minutes. Roosevelt students can use the bus service for free, or use the local bike-share scheme, Divvy, at a reduced rate. Access 6,000 bikes across 580 stations in a city perfect for cyclists.

LEARN THE SKILLS YOU NEEDYou will receive a combination of English language preparation, academic courses, and study skills training that will fully prepare you for entering your chosen degree at Roosevelt University. Undergraduate students will earn up to 28 academic credits toward a bachelor's degree, and most graduate students will be able to apply one academic course toward a master's degree.

PREPARE FOR YOUR FUTURETo help you fulfill your career ambitions, we have integrated career support into the programs at the International Study Center. This service, called CareerAhead, is designed to help you become a confident, skilled, and employable graduate, giving you a head start in today's competitive jobs market.

PRE-MASTER’S PROGRAM

PROGRAM STRUCTUREThe Pre-Master’s Program offers on-campus preparation for international students wanting to study Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Public Administration (MPA), Master of Science (MS), and Master of Arts (MA) at Roosevelt University.

ENGLISH FOR ACADEMIC PURPOSES (EAP)As an important component of the Pre-Master's Program, EAP courses focus on teaching the English language and academic study skills you need to succeed. The courses will also focus on critical thinking and developing your understanding of the American college life.

THE PRE-MASTER’S PROGRAM WILL PREPARE YOU FOR EARNING A GRADUATE DEGREE. THIS INCLUDES ADDITIONAL ENGLISH LANGUAGE SKILLS AND THE ACADEMIC SUPPORT TO SUCCEED IN YOUR DEGREE AND YOUR FUTURE CAREER.
