• Web 2.0 ‘fanatic’ and passionate about integrating the curriculum with technology.

• Have taught Grades 1 - 7 and am now Computer teacher at Fishhoek Primary

• Life was revolutionised in 2009 by blogging and discovering a whole educational community ‘out there’.

• Winner of Innovative Teacher 2009 in SA. Winning place in Pan African Finals in Mauritius and participated in World Finals in Brazil.

We use ‘print screen’ to get the pictures and

words into PowerPoint.

A non-web project usingcreative writing

Fish Hoek Primary created a

reading scheme of 80 books from

Grade 1 – Grade 7 for Steenberg

Primary School

We created stories in Storymaker 2

or Storybook Weaver and put them

into PowerPoint. We then printed

them as A4 booklets.

The Grade 5 bookbinding team at work

One class was selected to deliver them

and read some of the stories to each

grade in their school hall.
