REAL ESTATE ACADEMY OF LEADERSHIP

About REAL • Founded in 1995 by MIBOR, the Real Estate Academy of Leadership

(R.E.A.L.) is a proactive effort to identify individuals from the association's membership who have leadership interest and potential.

• MIBOR's goal is to help prepare candidates to be successful leaders in the real estate profession and in the central Indiana community. R.E.A.L. is a dynamic training program designed to expose participants to the principles of leadership as well as issues and trends in the community.

• The first "REAL" class graduated in 1996 and over 335 REALTOR® and Affiliate members have completed the program since its inception.

Goals of the Program

• To learn leadership traits and qualities

• To develop insight into national, regional, and local issues and trends that affect the real estate industry

• To develop an understanding of our communities and make correlations to the real estate industry

• To formulate opinions on the role of MIBOR

REAL classes are carefully organized and include a comprehensive study of a variety of business and real estate topics including:

Local Government | Economic and Professional Development | Media Skills | Housing and Neighborhoods

As a benefit to the attendees, classroom instruction is combined with exciting field trips to provide a close-up look at all of the above topics.
