25 years ago. 1968 --- Oscar E. Bryant. 86. a native and life-long resident of Mt". Vcmon died January 11 at the Rockcastle County Baptist Hospital after suffering a heart attack at his residence on Main Street.

It was perfect weather for sleigh-ing, that is, but not for much else unless you were an Eskimo. Local youngsters enjoyed the 9-inch-accu-mulationof snow that shutdown local schools for 12 days and making for very hazardous driving.
