The real housewives of Atlanta title sequence

The reality tv drama title sequence begins with a back dropping of buildings that are coloured in a silver colour. The main colour in the back dropping is peach, in order to incorporate the colour of the fruit that is apart of the logo. The lighting for the tv drama is high key lighting that represents that genre of the tv show.

After the viewer sees the wording ‘The real housewives of Atlanta’. The name of the tv drama is separated into two colours, orange is used for ‘ the of Atlanta’ which is written in smaller font in comparison to the rest of the title of the show. Black is used for the wording ‘real housewives’, the black font is bold and is larger in comparison to the other words. The black allows real housewives to stand out, this alerts the viewer what the tv programme is about. Seconds later the viewer sees an establishing shot of Atlanta. This sets the scene for the viewer and allows them to see the location that the programme is mostly shot in.

Next in the title sequence the viewer is exposed to the cast members of the show. These cast members are called Nene Leakes, Porsha Stewart, Phaedra Parkes, Kenya Moore, Kandi Burruss and Cynthia Bailey. They each have two 2 seconds clips that exposes the cast members personality, what they do for a career and the people that are in the cast members lives, such as husband, mother, children etc. However, only some cast members expose their family members in the opening scene. The family members that are shown are dependant on what happens the in series.

After all the individual clips are finished we then see a clip of all of the cast members’ standing together. All of the cast members are holding a peach fruit with the logo on the tv programme across the cast members mid body.
