Learning Phonics through Storytelling with Arts and Crafts

Reading is fundamental, and we make it fun by combining with arts and crafts. We’ll bring children along on a journey exploring the Englishlanguage, helping them learn to sound out words and increase their interest in reading. Using the phonics method to recognize and associatesounds of letters will help them read quickly and correctly. In addition, children will use varying mediums to tell stories, create masterpieces, andexpress themselves through art. Art enables creativity while building problem solving skills, helping children to develop a better understanding ofthemselves and their world. They will connect as they learn phonics and creating through different mediums of arts and crafts, helping even themost diverse children find common ground as they engage in class with each other. Train with Brain-Pedagogical Sports Program

Train-with-Brain has developed a special tailor-made program for the developmental phase of children aged three to seven, in order to identify, observe and promote the developmental stages of small children. At the same time we especially take into account the differences in logicalthinking and movement abilities of the individual age groups. As three-year old children are developing their ability to think logically, the four-yearold children have already developed an awareness of danger. In addition, expressions of quantity and time are understood. In comparison, from agefive and upwards, motor skills become more developed. Using knowledge about the developmental areas and stages of children, Train-with-Braintries – by incorporating playful aspects e.g. playing football – to promote and stabilise these age-specific abilities. Another goal is to prepare thechildren by shaping them mentally, physically and socially for entry into school. Here the social interaction and cooperative behaviour of the childrenis taken into account.
