the people could not discern the noise of theshout of joy from the noise of the weeping of thepeople, for the people shouted with a loud shout,and the sound was heard afar off.

Our text deals with the overwhelmingcommission given to the post exilicgeneration. To rebuild a temple, a temple thathad experienced world renown and beautybeyond compare. The leadership was gone,the beauty was gone and most importantlythe glory was missing. Glory defined as thenature and acts of God in self manifestation.

The ChurchPast, Present and Prophetic Part 19A captivity so great that Ezekial saw God sglory being lifted from the area, thecherubims came and the glory stood overthem. The glory had departed and accordingto scripture went up and stood upon amountain to the east of the city.

The ChurchPast, Present and Prophetic Part 19If you were to ask me, based on the previousand now looking into Ezra s generation I wouldhave said, NO WAY ..

Remember several weeks ago I touched in thisarea of the latter house being greater thanthe former , I spoke of how in my mind, Icouldn t understand the possibility or themeasure of how this could happen.

The ChurchPast, Present and Prophetic Part 19The prophetic nature of the church reveals asimilar scenario. The pronouncement of youin this latter house, being greater than theyof the former house seems impossible.I talked of how we measure this glory,looking for it in a pre-conceived paradigm. Theacts of the Apostles certainly gives a detailedaccount of the church and her purpose andmission being fulfilled.

I m not Ezekial and I can t say thatI have been caught away in my spirit to sit in agiven situation, but in the spirit of discernment I am able see clearly thecondition and confusion that exists. My mind

is clear on current state of the church.

perfection of the saints , what does it meanto be perfect, most importantly to me is howdo we get there.. How is this house going toget out of the rubble, and move forward withthe work.

This glory must bemanifested.God is sovereign, in the plant, animal, and in natureitself there is a glory, We have no participation in allthis glory. God acts in nature and we see Hismanifestation in all of life. However in man, we aremade of the same stuff, in His likeness and in Hisimage.We manifest His glory in the physical sense, we arepart of this, the glory comes from heaven but not apartfrom and through us
