0.26 DETECTION ARRANGEMENT FOR ICAFSS:

0.27 ---

M/s Ceasefire Industries Pvt. Ltd.: In clause 5.3.3 “Detection Arrangement for ICAFSS” the following points need to be added for better clarity on the system required and its specifications. Heat sensing tube:

The tube must be made of special modified polyamide (PA) in black colour.

Sensor tube UV resistance with pressurization of tube using Nitrogen gas.

Burst temperature at 15 Bar: 150ºC to 180ºC.

Tube‟s other technical specifications should be certified by the OEM of the tube to its own specifications.

Not agreed.

5.3.4.1 The ICMP shall have the facility to trigger the TFAFSS (if provided).

---

M/s MX Systems International Pvt. Ltd.: This clause to be removed. ICAFSS and TFAFSS are different systems and we request not to mix and thus delete this specific requirement of triggering the TFAFSS from ICMP which is meant for ICAFSS.

Not agreed.

RDSO’s Remarks

5.4 0.28 ALARM UNIT (AU):

---

M/s Ceasefire Industries Pvt. Ltd.: Clause 5.4 Alarm unit needs to be removed as it is not required for people to vacate in case of activation of ICAFSS. This provision is required mandatorily for TFAFSS only.

0.29 Clause 5.4.1.1 Modified as: The AU shall be provided for warning of hazardous condition.

5.4.1.1 The AU shall be provided for warning of hazardous condition. It shall provide audio & visual warning alarm for personnel evacuation prior to discharge.

M/s Supremex Equipments: In case of ICAFSS the pressure switch is activated after the system is discharged. In that case prior audio visual alarm is not possible. However alarm is received during discharge. Also since the gas is being released within cabinet, and also due to the fact that localized suppression cylinders are small, the quantity of gas involved is very less hence personnel evacuation is not required. However for the sake of their awareness we can certainly give an alarm during discharge.

8.10.1.3

The standalone electrical actuators (solenoid or equivalent) along with low pressure switch shall be subjected to 10,000 cycle of operation by extending the supply of 24VDC through make & break of contacts at specified time interval. At the end of this test the electrical actuators (solenoid or equivalent) shall be completely functional.

---

M/s Supremex Equipments: As standalone electrical actuator can be subjected to operation not more than 10 times in its life, we can test the endurance of the actuator only up to 10 times of its operational cycle.

M/s MX Systems International Pvt. Ltd.: As Halo carbon based gas suppression systems are available with various pressure arrangements, we recommend to include following two design parameters in specifications: (a) Design Pressure - 50 Bars (b) Design Concentration of 4.2% by volume for Class A hazards and a minimum of 5.85% by volume for Class B.

0.34 Not agreed as it has been left to the choice of manufacturer. Manufacturer has specify these items while applying for vendor registration.
