I must say this assignment was a challenge. When I do these assignments I re-read the assignments #1-3. I had a mental block for assignments #3. I started to panic because I could not find the subjects headings and the process. I learned that I needed to step away. Once I figured everything out. I felt like I was doing double, triple, quad-triple the work. This was because when I first looked up the DDC & LCC #’s, I was not noting the indicators. I know how important these numbers. So, I checked my records several times just to make sure the indicator were in the right spot. I really appreciate you waving the last few assignments. Overall I can now look at a MARC record know what the records mean. I been copying cataloging for 13 years and I was just going through the motions. The one book that gave me a hard time was Wild. I took a while to get a 082. I found one, but to me it does not make since. The book has a cutter for 305.4. The meaning for 305 which is social groups. I am really proud of myself for making it through my class and sharing what I have learned to my co-workers.
