Provide wheel chair platform or lift to Stage. Provide elevator for barrier free access to Gymnasium Mezzanine. Overall interior system rating is acceptable.
Mechanical Summary:Building mechanical systems include 19-gas fired furnaces and 6-packaged heat/cool unit. Ventilation provided by thefurnaces and heat/cool units with general and dedicated exhaust systems. Conventional plumbing system with 2-gasfired domestic hot water heaters. Fire hose cabinets and fire extinguishers located throughout building. Mechanicalservices include domestic water supply from outside source (delivered by truck). Sanitary system to septic field withstorm drainage to surface run-off. Metered natural gas supply from Utility. The 1954 Classroom, 1955 Gymnasiumfurnaces and associated ductwork have surpassed Theoretical Life Expectancy and is required to be replaced. The1971 Section has been replaced with new RTU. Additional recommendations include connection of site domesticwater system to municipal system. The main distribution centre was installed in 1993 and has ample spare capacity. Lighting is provided by fluorescent fixtures which were upgraded with T8 lamps and electronic ballasts in 2004. Firealarm system is a Mircom FX-2000 installed in 2006. PA system is the product of Dukane with return call switches ineach class room. Electrical systems are generally in good condition.
