(4) To prepare CFOSAT by using SAR and Scatterometry data. A wave-scatterometer spectrometer (SWIM: Surface Waves Investigation and Monitoring) and a scatterometer (SCAT) are on board CFOSAT. It is scheduled to begin orbital operations in 2015.
