Letter of Recommendation
This letter of recommendation is written in support of Mr. Raziq P. Yaqub's, application for jobin Canada.
Mr. Raziq P. Yaqub was the principal nominee from Asia, South America, and Africa and invitedto Japan as a visiting researcher by Rikkyo University, Tokyo Japan.
During his period of research in my laboratory, he showed an excellent research aptitude. Thoughhe remained a visiting researcher for one year, his intellectual capability and great interest forhigher education enabled him to get admission in Ph.D. course in this university.
During Ph.D. course, he remained one of the best students of this University. He attended severalintemational conferences and published many research papers in technical transactions andConference Proceedings. His presentations showed his sound understanding of the technicalknowledge.
During his whole period of study he eamed scholarship from the Ministry of Education,Govemment of Japan, Keio University, and Rikkyo University.
I know that to bear the expenses ofhis children's education, he used to do teaching work in oneof the public schools. Though he was fully loaded with various responsibilities ofjob and family,he earned the Ph.D. degree within minimum specified time of tluee years.
After doing his Ph.D., he joined Nokia Research Center Tokyo Japan. Besides performing theassigned duties in Nokia, he used to come to my laboratory in his spare tirne and did a researchwork on W-CDMA under my guidance. The same is submitted to IEICE for possible publication.
He is an intelligent and cooperative person with initiative and devotion to his work. Since comingto Japan he has lived upto the entire expectations in every way. As Mr. Raziq's Professor, I cansafely say that this enthusiastic and honest person is an asset for any research institute, companyor organization, and it is a rare good fortune for any one to have him on one's staff. He can beentrusted with any work of responsibility with confidence. I am sure that he will acquit himselfextremely well in any position.
I am looking forward for positive consideration in his favor.
