Saddle Stitch
Binding done with staples.
Folded and collated sheets are stapled through the middle.
We recommend using this on less than 80 pages. But this is dependent on paper stock weight.
Common Uses: Magazines, Small Soft Covered Books, Brochures

Perfect Bound
Binding done with adhesive.
Folded sections of the spine will be cut off and roughened. Glue is then applied and the cover attached.
We recommend using PUR glue(Poly Urethane Reactive) which can withstand temperature changes and is 3 x stronger than ordinary glue.

Plastic Comb
Binding done with a flexible plastic comb.
A stack of paper is punched along the edge and the plastic comb is inserted.
A cheap method for low quantities, and is typically limited to 3in paper thickness. This method can be easily damaged and is expensive for large orders.
Common Uses: Reports, Documents, Presentations
Spiral Bound
Binding done with a plastic or metal looped spiral.
A stack of paper is punched along the edge and the looped spiral is screwed in.
We recommend using plastic for the spiral as this material is less prone to damage.
Common Uses: Technical manuals, Notebooks, Presentations, Calendars

long-life binding solution
Case Bound
Binding done with thread and adhesive.
Folded and collated sheets are sewn together with thread. The hard cover is then glued on.
This is an expensive process and we recommend using this only with books that must withstand constant use.
Common Uses: Hardcover Books, Reference Books, Text Books, Novels

Ring Binders
Binding done with ‘O’ or ‘D’ rings.
Folders are made from cardboard with wrap around artwork; or plastic with silk screened design. Paper is drilled to be inserted into rings.
We recommend using Ring Folders for presenting various resources.
Common Uses: Pricing Folders, Menus, Presentation Folders, Training Folders

Rivet Bound
Binding done with plastic or metal rivets.
A stack of paper is punched once in the corner and the rivet is inserted.
A cheap method for binding up to 500 pages.
Common Uses: Frequently used Documents, Swatches, Creative Presentations, Instructions
