v7.4.0

December 2020

Computer Arts, Inc. is pleased to announce the release of Recording

Software v7.4.0.

We have updated the application to include enhancements, changes to

reports, and some bugs that have been fixed. Included in this update are

new additions:

Issue # 46118 Requested by: Computer Arts, Inc.

Corrected overlapping text on the Add Cash panel.


In the Cash Receipt panel, if the tax checkbox was checked and then unchecked it would not re-update the amount on the receipt. This has been fixed so that the amounts update accordingly.

Issue # 27808 Requested by: Lewis County

Pressing the “hotkey” F9 will now open up and display the instrument’s image when instrument is highlighted.

Issue # 39204 Requested by: Clearwater County

Changed the message on add Old Instrument from “Invalid Instrument Number” to “Old

Instrument Number, “1234567”, already exists.” When adding an instrument that

already exists.


Issue # 41782 Requested by: Payette County

“Refers To” is now listed on the Instrument Change Panel as an available button.

This directly brings up the Refers to Instrument Panel.

Issue # 42628 Requested by: Caribou County

Added a date search filter to the Recording Main Menu / List Names search. Also, results of people search are sorted by recorded date.

Issue # 51040 Requested by: Bear Lake County

Updated the Print Receipt button on an IRS ACH Transfer payment. Previously, it would

print out every single transaction from 2005. This has been fixed and will now only print

for that specific transaction.

Issue # 52084 Requested by: Madison County

Added a “Copy Last” button on the Add Old Instrument Panel. This will enable the user

to copy the information of the last old instrument they entered.



A Systems Update Notification has been added to the CAI Recording

Program.

When users first log in following an update, the New Version Notification will

appear.

Click the Display New Version/PTF Documentation button to open the documentation

for the laest update, or click OK to close the window and open Recording Main Menu.


Added Version History information pertaining to each update to the CAI

Recording Program. Go to Recording Main Menu / Help / Version History.

The List Version History panel contains update information including associated

documentation. Click the Documentatioin Web Link option to access the

documentation referring to an update.

Issue # 45863 Requested by: Caribou County

Changed REVENUE REPORT (RC003) to total the cash and charges, then total the ACH separately, and totaling all amounts together in the Grand Total.


Issue # 49666 Requested by: Payette County

MARRIAGE LICENSE (RC002ST) was not printing the Officiate State, this has been fixed.

Issue # 54156 Requested by: Clark County

Previously the LIQUOR LICENSE (RC100) would print the validity years one year ahead. For example, a license printed for 2021 would print as valid 2021-2022. This has been fixed so that when a 2021 (current) license is printed, it will show as 2020-2021.

Added a new column to the REVENUE REPORT (RC003) to display the check numbers.

Added check number to RECEIPT (RC002) if customer paid by check.

Issue # 51749 Requested by: Cassia County

Added the Sell From and Sell To dates on the Liquor License (RC100) to clarify validity on the license.



Added a tax field for the Revenue Report (RC003) for counties with Use Tax Amount flagged in Recording Control File / Cash Control.


Issue #54675 Requested by Computer Arts, Inc.

On CASH RECEIPT report (RC002) identify what fees are for on recorded instruments are

in FEES field. Also added IRS-ACH TRANSFER as TYPE when applicable (RC002ACH).


On the Passport Transmittal the confirmation number and transmittal number were in the wrong place. This has been fixed
