Introduction Launchpad is a proven, innovative postgraduate business incubation and acceleration programme which will create a new generation of Cornwall-based companies in high-value and high-growth markets. The Launchpad methodology reverses the traditional model of business incubation as it builds new companies in response to specific known market demand. This approach significantly reduces the high failure rates associated with conventional start-up and business incubation and support models.

From concept to incorporation, incubation and acceleration, the whole operation remains highly responsive to market demand. Launchpad aligns skilled graduates, a bespoke package of specialist support and the University’s Research & Innovation infrastructure with clearly defined business opportunities. This approach will attract and retain entrepreneurial talent and draw high quality investment into Cornwall for the long-term benefit of the regional economy.

The post holder will take a key role in the development and delivery of the Launchpad programme and the successful incorporation and investment of the Launchpad graduate teams. The post holder will be integral to these teams in an advisory, supporting and business development/management capacity.

This role is part funded through the European Regional Development Fund.
