SPRING cLEAN uP:Annual pick up of unwanted items is heldevery spring. A full list of items that canand cannot be picked up is available onthe Town website.

Welcome to a Greener Claresholm!As the Town of Claresholm expands the recycling program to include more items andoperate a true-blue bin program, we are pleased to introduce Environmental 360Solutions to the citizens of Claresholm as the new recycling collector/transporter. E360Swill be looking after the collection of the Town’s recycling bins from all residential andcommercial customers and transport all items to Calgary for drop off at CASCADESautomated sorting facility. We chose CASCADES recycling to take our materials to, as theyguarantee all products collected will be recycled. The new blue bins, delivered to everyhome, will be owned by the Town of Claresholm and used for recycling purposes only. Alllarge bins in the commercial areas, will be clearly marked, and are for business use onlyof recycling materials.An information package will be dropped off with every residential customer, detailing theproducts accepted for recycling, bin placing instructions for collection and who to call forquestions or problems. All commercial customers will be contacted for bin requirements, with instructions onwhere to place their recycling materials and when they will be collected.The new collection program will commence in November.For all Residential customers:The Public Works crew will continue with residential collection as is until the delivery ofall residential bins has been completed. Once bins have been delivered, your newcollection time and day will be posted on the Town’s web site, as well as in the informationpackage that will be handed out when bins are delivered. The package will containinformation regarding the materials that will be accepted in the new recycling program.Residential customer will set out their bins for collection once every two weeks.For those customers that recycle infrequently or that do not want a bin, or only haveoccasional large quantities, bins will be provided for their use at the Public works shopduring working hours. (7am- 4pm weekdays) and they can drop off all accepted itemsfor recycle.For bin repairs or replacements contact the Town’s Public Works department at403- 625- 0503 during working hours. Replacements may be at your own cost.

Household Hazardous Waste:Claresholm hosts a Toxic Round up inthe spring every 2 years, write 2021 &2023 on your calendar.

Electronics: Electronic Round Up isheld annually each spring by theClaresholm & District 4-H Club at the Claresholn Town Shop.

Used Clothing: Claresholm has a number of used clothing dropoff bins throughout the community. Or consider donating to orselling your used items on social media.

The day of the week that your grabage is picked upmay be different than your recycling.

The recycling & garbage pick up schedule may change depending onholidays, notices will be posted.
