My Earth RatingI Derek am an average earth friend

• I take short showers.• I turn off my electronics

when I’m done with them.

• I ride or walk to places mostly instead of taking a car.

3 R’s• Recycle: to me recycle is to take

plastic, and paper and use them for different things because the are reusable.

• Reuse: to me reuse is to take something that’s been used already that can be used again.

• Reduce: to me reduce means to do less of your bad habits that help destroy mother nature.

• My fourth R is: recover-What I’m thinking of is recover the object by take it back and reuse it

What can you make out of a 2liter coke bottle

• I can turn the coke bottle into a scarecrow to scare all of the non-recycling birds or people!

P.S.A

• 3 superhero’s spring into action when someone doesn’t recycle and they take down the trash can and RECYCLE!! Then yell REDUCE, REUSE, AND RECYCLE!! And run off to recycle some where else.

What can you do to help the environment.

• 1. turn off the electricity when I’m not using it.

• 2. don’t leave the water on when your brushing your teeth.

• 3. recycle reusable containers instead of throwing it away.

Recycle 1- ton of paper equals how many trees?

• If you recycle 1-ton of paper equals 17 trees all together!!

Saving the environment

• Recycling half of the worlds paper would save a third of the world which is about 33% of the world, so you can help save 33% of the world isn’t that cool.

Lbs of plastic thrown away!!

• Americans throw out 7 billion pounds of plastic yearly!!!
