Students, parents, grandparents

and staff are encouraged to

Bunnings BBQ:

On behalf of school council,

parents and students I sincerely

thank all who assisted in the

running of the Bunnings BBQ

on Sunday.

Because of their efforts, we

raised just over $1,400.

Nut Free School:

Parents, carers and students are

I am very thankful that all

parents have accepted this

policy so enthusiastically, but

as new parents and children are

nut free policy.

Zeb Sos, Grade 6, has a severe

anaphylactic response to nuts

and nut products. It is essential

everyone is very vigilant in

keeping our school nut free.

Nationally Consistent Collection of

Data on School Students with

Disability :

All schools in Australia, including

SunSmart in Winter: At this time of year, it is

very difficult for our bodies

to make enough vitamin D

because:

there is less sunlight

UV levels are low

we cover our skin up to

keep warm.

From May to August, aim

for sun exposure to be:

daily

longer (about 20 minutes

in the middle of the day)

expose as much skin as

practical – you need sun-

light on as much skin as

possible.

Sun protection is not needed

when the UV levels are below

3 unless you are near highly

reflective surfaces such as

snow or water OR are outside

for extended periods (most of

the day).
