• Focus on partnership for water management and water quality throughout the Red River Basin
• 37th Annual Red River Basin Conference (Fargo, ND)
Workshop on Indigenous Treaties in Lake Winnipeg Basin
•Organized in partnership with the Treaty Relations Commission
of Manitoba and the RRBC North and South Chapter
•To educate on indigenous rights, history of the signed treaties and clarify common misconceptions
•Targeted for municipal officials and others
A three-day Conference to bring together First Nation, Metis & Tribal Leaders, Federal, Provincial, State, City and Municipal governments,
influential leaders in water management to discuss perspectives and issues on water rights for all within the Lake Winnipeg Basin.

LiDAR in the Red River Basin
Working in partnership with the Province of Manitoba, Conservation Districts and Municipalities to obtain full LiDAR coverage of the Manitoba Portion of the Basin
LiDAR in the Manitoba portion of the Basin •South region (from Winnipeg to the border) flown on Spring 2019
• The Red river corridor from Winnipeg to the Emerson border also updated • Data presently being processed
•North region presently tendered. • Data collection targeted for fall 2019
•Workshops on the use of LiDAR and Climate Adaptation Planning • To commence in October 2019

Tile Drainage Municipal Bylaw Template
Partnered with the Province of Manitoba, RM of Dufferin and five Conservation Districts in the Red River Basin
Hosted a series of webinars on Tile Drainage.
Tile Drainage Municipal Bylaw Template RRBC partnered once again with the Province of Manitoba, ARBI, and the Conservation Districts, and a few RM’s to create a Tile Drainage Municipal By-Law Template.
The template will serve as a guide document to help municipalities create their own Tile Drainage By-Law.
