Welcome Members & Associates! I sure hope everyone has had a chance to take a moment to heal from our crazy winter and take a breath of fresh air of the coming spring. We have a lot going on in March and I hope to see you at all the events coming up! I want to give a huge shout out to Redding Patriots, Republican Central Committee and RRWF for
working together on putting on the Candidate Debate for State Senate District 1. Cathy Kneer and I attended and we saw so many of our friends show up too. It was a great turn out! The questions that were created were so perfect! We saw some true colors come out of all the candidates; we saw some edginess of form; and we saw the crowd follow! I tried to post some pics and vid on our RRWF page. If you were in attendance please feel free to write an article about how you felt about each of the candidates. Contact Linda Parham to enter it into the next Newsletter and as an email blast as the election is a SPECIAL ELECTION MARCH 26TH! I HOPE YOU COME OUT TO VOTE! Molly Kidd has a wonderful Membership Coffee prepared for Saturday 3/9. I hope to see you there! Please check in to our FB page for that event! Tell everyone and invite your Republican friends to join us! Alice Gerety will be attending the Redding History Days that same weekend and will want some help on 3/9&10. Please contact her.
2019 is well underway for the upcoming 2020 Election. Let’s all stay on top of the latest. Share your takeaways with us here and on our FB page. What can you do to help Keep America Great? Ask yourself, pray on it, be active, and take notes. Invite friends to events and bring those on the fence to your side of thinking with education and classy persuasion.
WE’VE GOT THIS!! Dr. Maria Salas, D.C. President RRWF

Bucket of Books
It is that time of year when we are looking forward to purchasing library books for our local schools in Shasta County. With the assistance of our members, our "Bucket of Books" program has grown in the last two years from 19 to 26 Shasta County schools. Each school receives approximately 25 books purchased from Scholastic Books at a value of $50.00.
If you are able to donate $50.00, or a partial amount, this program will continue to be a successful contribution to our community. Please write "Bucket of Books" in the memo portion of your check and submit to our treasurer, Tami Gerhard. Her address is 550 Fair Hill Drive, Redding, CA 96003. If there is a specific school you would like to donate to, please write that in the memo line as well. Donations will be accepted at the April meeting as well.
Members will be delivering buckets of books in the fall to our area schools. If you would like to participate in presenting books, please feel free to contact Patty Ostrowski at 357-3111. This is an excellent opportunity to share with our local children, and our dedication to increasing their literacy through fun and informative books.

issues, please contact Erin Ryan at (530) 515-7135 or

assist in this activity.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Page 17 - The Party Line
We invite every member to get involved. Contact RRWF President
Maria Salas at (530) 227-3984 or email her at
[email protected]. A great way to get
started is to co-chair for any of the filled positions.
Join the Newsletter Committee RRWF needs members to join the Newsletter
Committee. It is easy to get involved. There are
many small ways you can assist, like gathering
articles and data, taking pictures at club events,
finding/writing articles, formatting, adding
pictures and images, etc. You can even choose
to be in charge of one area that you enjoy, like updating the
calendar of events.
The Committee will update the newsletter template each
month by adding new articles, events, and information that the
Board Members submit.
CFRW has an annual newsletter contest, so if you are
competitive, you can enter to win. Consider asking a friend to
volunteer with you and make it a team effort.
Please email me at [email protected] if you are
interested. Linda Parham, Newsletter Editor.

Chaplain’s Corner By Ann Tessier Thought for the Month of March When it comes to trusting God, or putting our hope in him, the Nike ad wins the day: "Just do it." We learn more about trust only by trusting. We grow in hope only by hoping. None of these jewels comes to us by simply reading or thinking about it. We have to get on board and sail out to find the treasure. (Written by Nicole Johnson.)
May we also find our ship and sail on to what God has for all of us with Courage, Love, and Faith.
