Upcycled, recycled and re-purposed is the name of our product design. Our baskets and planters are made from old PVC waterpipes, each individually handpicked and collected from landfills and construction sites. During the production phase, the pipes are exposed to heat which allows the flexibility to cut into strips. The strips are then neatly woven through a wire structure that gives the basket a strong and reinforced structure. With between 4-7 hours to make, coupled with attention to detail, it means the basket is uniquely handmade and finished with a solid and long-lasting structure that will require little to no maintenance for years to come.

Our PVC range feature a remarkable, stylish, resistant and durable design which is perfectly suitable for both indoors and outdoors. This quality basket and planter transforms a space, with its peculiar texture and warm colours, it brings an element of art and neutrality. The baskets and planters are water resistant, none-rustic and have a versatile storage functionality making it a multipurpose product. Due to the handmade nature of the PVC range; size and design may vary slightly in each basket.

The PVC range is divided into 2 categories: Recycled PVC Waterpipe Basket and Planter.

Recycled PVC Waterpipe Range

With its unique shape and size, the laundry basket offers multi-functional ways to organize a space. It is uniquely designed with a lid in place which enables a neat storage facility that keeps the contents out of sight. The lid also comes with a handle detail that enables easy access. Although traditionally used as a laundry storage facility, this item has proven to be quite resourceful and has many unique usages such as large pot plant holder, outdoor poolside accessory holder, large toy holder e.g. stuffed animals, clutter keeper and outdoor or indoor firewood storage compartment.

Our basket is currently offered in 2 different sizes (Medium and Large) to cater to specific household needs.

The PVC planter offers dual indoor and outdoor plant solution storage and is ideal for small and large plants. With its uniquely curved shape, it is designed to add character to any living space in any home while providing a comfortable, breathable home for any plant.

It also has many other usage opportunities such as, toy storage, wet laundry holder, fire-wood storage, bathroom towel arrangement storage and a plain pot décor accessory. Planters are available in 2 different sizes ranging from Medium to Large.

Using natural leaves as a principle fiber, the environmentally non-invasive product design embodies a blend of tradition and nature. Our round shaped grass range is made from the natural fiber of earthly grown ilala palm leaves derived from abundant fields in Africa. Our basketry design features a minimalistic craft, that offers a multifunctional purpose of storage utility, decor design and art. Even though they are all-natural, the combined mix of thick grass-layers creates a strong and durable basket with a steady design to completement any space in a home. The unique grass range, with its natural colour adds an organic, textural element to home décor. Due to the handmade nature of our grass range, size and design may vary slightly in each basket.

We offer different weaving techniques to suit specific needs:

Single Weaving Pattern: This is a weaving method that uses a single binder twist around each row of grass. Due to single weft, the density of the basket is lighter but still maintains a strong and durable finish.

Double Weaving Pattern: This is a weaving method that uses a double-continuous binder around each row of grass. The baskets usually represent fully covered rows of grass neatly bonded together and generally result in a thicker and stronger finish.

Grass Woven Range

Ideal for a modern twist in your home storage, the laundry basket can be used in any space of the home to be used as a laundry storage facility, various household storage compartments or alternatively as a planter. This laundry basket includes a fully fitted lid and 2 side handles for easy handling. Grass laundry baskets are available in 3 different sizes ranging from Small, Medium and Large.
