AIRFREIGHT
Weight ratios play an important part in Airfreight planning.
The chargeable weight is the greater of the actual weight versus the volumetric weight (1 m3 = 167kgs).
Airfreight containers come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes and are tailored to the aircraft they are travelling on.
Large pieces of airfreight are accepted by airlines on a case by case basis – Redfort can help negotiate with the airline on your behalf.
