Recap & Outlook for August According to the MLS, the month of July proved fairly positive for real estate activity in Redondo Beach with a 10% increase in total sales and single digit improvements in the median sales price, median days to sell, listings, and sales/listing ratio. Furthermore, year-over-year analysis for July reveals exact trending behavior for total sales and median sales price – a 10% and 1.6% increase, respectively speaking. In the news… According to C.A.R., “Statewide sales were above the 400,000 mark for the fourth straight month” while “available housing supply remains constrained at 3.3 months of inventory” (http://www.car.org/newsstand/newsreleases/2015releases/july2015sales?view=Standard). August will undoubtedly end with similar if not better stats given the time of year, inexpensive mortgage money, and a healthy relationship between buyers and sellers.
