Redraw Network

You can Redraw Network when you want to:

l Add neighbor after adding or removing cell. See Add/Remove Site and Edit Neighbors for more information.

l Identify different technology bands by setting colors and sizes. SeeTechnology Bandsfor more information.

l Set size for different cell types

l Set colors for different cell status

l Set other options like text, transparency, site label size and max zoom levels.

l Refresh network after resize site .

To Redraw Network:1. Go to Network menu >Redraw Network2. Set options in Redraw Network window:

Tech Band Tab

l Allows change of cell color, cell size, text color and text size to identify different types of technology bands.

l Also allows the adding ofCustom Technology Bands by clicking on the Add New... button. Once applied, each technology band will be displayed on map according to thesettings.

l Allows the change of Text Style for cell drawn on the map. To choose the Text Style in the map:

a. Click Text Style button.b. Select the Text Style Override option to override the default text settings.c. Text Style allows to choose the Font,Text Color, Background and Effects.d. Set the settings.e. Click OK.

Cell Type Tab

Allows change of cell size ratio. Once applied, cell size ratio will be redrawn on map.

Cell Status Tab

Allows change of Cell Fill Color for different cell status. The Cell Fill Color will overwrite the Tech Band color settings and ignore the transparent color settings for cell fill whenapplied.

Options Tab

Other options:

a. Use Transparent Color for Cell Fill - to view cell fill color as transparentb. Show Cell Text Horizontally - to view cell text horizontallyc. Omit Sector Id in Cell Text - to view cells text without sector idd. Site Label

i. Site Label Size - set MapInfo site label font sizeii. Site Label Style - allows the change of Label Style for sites drawn on the map. Function is similar to Text Style button at the Tech Band tab.

e. Max Zoom for CELL and TEXT layer - set different max zoom for CELL and TEXT layer

Max Zoom for CELL and TEXT Layer option is used to set different max zoom for CELL and TEXT layer.This improves zoom performance and user visibility.To set Max zoom for CELL and TEXT layer:

i. At Redraw Network, set the CELL layer at 10km and TEXT layer at 5km.

ii. Click ApplyUsing the example above, only if you zoom in to 10km, you will be able to view CELL layer. But, to view the TEXT layer, you need to zoom in further to 5km. At 5km, you will beable to see both CELL and TEXT layer.
