What is Carbon Footprint?
Carbon footprint (FP): is “the total set of GHG (greenhouse gas) emissions caused directly and indirectly by an individual, organization, event or product” (UK Carbon Trust 2008).

How do I contribute to Carbon emission?
Through everyday activities, consumption of resources.
Use of electricity
Use/consumption of water
Through the food we eat
Clothes/cosmetics etc.
How can I reduce my Carbon Footprint?
By reminding my self and teaching my kids and family to economize – reduce, reuse and recycle.
Turning off all electrical and electronic equipment when not in use.
Turning off all power points when not in use: phone charger, laptops.
Not leaving laptops and TVs on standby.
How can I reduce my Carbon Footprint?
Turning off lights and air conditioning when not required.
By using less sprays and aerosols – air freshener, insect spray, deodorant spray
By using less water, stopping water wastage
How can I reduce my Carbon Footprint?
By not wasting food, selecting food that are locally grown, not processed (fresh).
By planting trees, looking after trees.
Using less paper – printing, hand drying etc
By using less plastic that will be thrown away
Remind yourself daily!
