Hello everybody, Thank you to the children who have sent me photos of ‘There’s a Snake in my School’ activities. Look out for pictures on the website and Twitter soon! This week is a week for celebration and being grateful for everything and everyone we have. It’s a strange time at the moment and I know you are all missing seeing the family members who don’t live in your house and your friends from nursery but as long as you are healthy I think we all have a lot to be thankful for. Being Grateful I’d like you to talk with your family about 3 things that you are lucky to have and that make you happy. Perhaps you could draw me a picture of the things that make you happy and send me a photo? I have had a good think about what I am grateful for and have shared it below to gt you started… 1. That all of my family, friends and children in my class are safe and healthy. 2. That I am getting to spend extra time with my family at home during this time and can pick up the phone to talk to family and friends I can’t see in person. 3. That the sun is shining nearly every day when I am in my garden or walking my dogs. A Time for Celebration This week I would like you to look at some of the special events that are taking places in our country. It is currently Ramadan and a lot of our families will be observing this special

For the icing5. 175g (6oz) butter softened6. 350g (12oz) icing sugar sifted plus

1. Preheat the oven to 200°C/Fan 180°C/gas 6. Place fairy cake cases into a 12-hole bun tin, so that the cakes keep a good even shape as they bake.

Pipe a swirl of butter cream into the centre of each cake and place the half slices of cake on top to resemble butterfly wings. Dust the cakes with icing sugar to finish.
